A Conversation with Authors Michael Koryta and Joe Hill


The Friends of the Nashua Public Library welcome bestselling authors Michael Koryta and Joe Hill in conversation about Michael's latest novel, LOST MAN'S LANE written under his pen name Scott Carson. Michael and Joe will also discuss their writing processes, how near-historical events influence their stories, how their books have been turned into movies, and everything in between. 

Following the conversation, there will be time for book signings, and books will be available for purchase from Balin Books before the event as well as at the event.

About Michael Koryta: Michael Koryta is a New York Times-bestselling author whose work has been translated into more than 20 languages and has won or been nominated for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, Edgar® Award, Shamus Award, Barry Award, Quill Award, International Thriller Writers Award, and the Golden Dagger. They’ve been selected as “best books of the year” by numerous publications and also writes under the pen name Scott Carson.

About Joe Hill: Joe Hill is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Fireman, Heart-Shaped Box, and Strange Weather. Much of his work has been adapted for film and television. His second novel, Horns, was made into a cult horror-comedy starring Daniel Radcliffe; his third novel, NOS4A2, was adapted for television by AMC, and featured Zachary Quinto; his short story The Black Phone was adapted for the big screen by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill, and starred Ethan Hawke. In 2007, he co-created the long-running comic book Locke & Key, with artistic maestro Gabriel Rodriguez; in 2011 Hill won the Eisner Award (Best Writer) for his work on the series. The six books in the Locke & Key saga formed the basis for a hit TV series on Netflix. A seventh volume, published in 2022, married the world of Locke & Key to the epic Sandman universe.
